Here's my NAME Tapes, the ones I still had, these were done up at the PX Annex located near my Barracks in mid-ish May 1980,   See even by the late 70s into early 1980, the old non computerized sewing machines are apparently still in use, as witnessed by the very slight unevenness in the embroidery. Now the one that's Stamped on the Nylon Ribbed Tape, that's the issue type, done up right there and then when trainees are just getting issued their Fatigue Items , and sewn on the stuff right in front of them. These and the earlier Stamped on OD Web and the even earlier Stamped White Web were also obtainable at a Post Clothing Sales Store for Permanent Party People who might need Tapes, here it was a less expensive alterative to getting the embroidered ones at the PX,    https://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/311826-my-fatique-removed-name-tapes/

My great-grandfather was in the 10th Armored, and his Ike jacket may have a woolie on there. Would that be rare?   I can't get a photo right now as I am at work, but in a few hours when I get home I will send a photo or 2.    And, of course, I will NOT be removing it to see the back.    Thanks!   Wade

That's unusual, a very modified M43 or is it an M47 HBT. Yes please try and find it to get closer views of it

These are not too common.  Found it on eBay as a reproduction.  😁  Picked it up for a song.  And yes, it's a good one.
