Haha, we are so alike, Ken... I've always kept this bundle of unissued jerry can bracket straps. They have a different type of buckle than yours... Also shown a bundle of leather straps. I believe they could be half track related but haven't done any further research on the number though...

Very cool. I have admittedly never looked but have never seen these in the wild yet. Reminds me of the breakdown .22 you could get at Walmart back in the 70s.  Thanks for posting, Dave

Hi Imperial Quest....This is an old post, but I wanted to reach out to you. Could you provide me with some of Pvt Heafy's records. I'm researching James Feeney, who I believe, was killed in the same tank that Harold Heafy was wounded in. Like Harold, James is from Massachusetts. The only thing I have is Pvt Heafy's 53-55 if you would like that I can provide that to you. Regards Bill

We are one week away and last count was 123 tables reserved. Looks like everything is in place for another great gathering of buyers and sellers. I strongly encourage everyone that can to attend. This is a chance to see and inspect some real militaria and to make connections with others in this hobby. Stop by my tables and say hi!   Mark 36-tex

Same over here; German stakes ones used for barbed wire in the fields near the coast. This is about 1/2 mile from my home ( photos taken 7th March 2026

Like Ken I Live amongst fields of the Atlantic Wall which were once 'Off Limits' ( Sperrgebiet) for civilians. These fields just inland from the seaside were littered with all kinds of invasion obstacles and devices and they were similar all along the coast from Norway all the way down towards Brittany and Spain.... These concrete stakes are remains of the obstacles described by Ken above and are still around as makeshift fence poles... Photo taken today 7th March 2026
