Since few if any reenactors portray themselves, I don’t see a problem. As long as you don’t perform any weddings or baptize any babies 😁. But some people may get offended. You should be prepared with a measured response in case it becomes a problem. mikie -

The RF-4Cs in the pics were assigned to the Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB, CA. They were retired in the early 90s. They were also flown by the crews in the Test Pilot School there. Randy -

I plan on doing the sermon myself and doing it very field like with only a stole. I have talked to a local pastor who was interested in the project and he is helping outline a sermon and the structure of it the service. -

i am a practicing Christian, with an interest in Chaplain equipment as well. the way i dealt with this was i purchased a mannequin, and put the vestments on it, and stood it up behind two field tables which held all the items for Mass. i am not, nor have i ever been, ordained. if you decide on something similar, this leaves you free to discuss their efforts on our behalf. Chaplain (Cpt) Liteky, of my brigade in vietnam, is a Medal of Honor recipient for the many lives he saved one day in the field. this was the display i set up at our church for veterans day.
