Here are two Type 2 luminous markers bolted onto the back of a Weapons Carrier. They used the reflector bolts to mount them to the back of the truck.

Greetings,   I recently came across these two US medic armbands. I believe one to the be wwii army and the other to be navy.    The army band seems to have the medic's Geneva number as well as his laundry number. I tried researching the laundry number and came up with a couple dozen bits. A few which are in my state.    No markings on the navy arm band. Neither band glow under a black light.    Would love to hear your thoughts about the age of these, if Iam correct ,and some hits how to process with my research into the laundry the laundry number.

These medals were instituted in 1945 with the last award being bestowed in 1962. I would say that they were all struck in a single production run in 1945. There are no doubts that the example that you show here is of that vintage.   Allan

Yes it does seem baseless as I too have not come across a book or collection yet that can without a doubt determine the British vs German made, so for me jury is still out.  so in the last of the pics I put up ( the black stitched reverse) I was told was a true British made version….but again, based on what?🤷‍♂️I have never seen one like that before, so🤷‍♂️ it seems the only real known one of the first division is the greenback.. US made up until 1943, before it moved to snowy backs. So the rest are all 🤷‍♂️to me.  if anyone knows of a book on these particular patches and where they were produced that would be fantastic haha.
