Interested in learning about these crates. I am looking at the hardware and the screws that were used - painted and updated later on? I only trust AI so much with these kind of things so skeptical if this is military or not. Bought for & $9 each. -

The other day, I received a call from a lady, she saw my Military Items Wanted business cards in the Post Office. While talking, she said she still had her father's service rifle. We met at her storage 20min. Only found, 2-.22s, Remington 973, Glenfields #60. Then, 2 shotguns, Springfield Arms model 1929 20ga single & a .410 Snake Charmer 2. Scary thing was, all were loaded.....good thing I checked. That was it for weapons but the search continued, found 3 different Hell On Wheels post war maps, showing battles & route through Europe. Aslo patriotic bubble glass frame showing her parents on their wedding day. Gene glance dow & spotted a heavy-duty soft gun case, I lifted bags of clothes off, the case was heavy Sempert & Krieghoff drilling(3 barrel 2x16ga & a 8.7mm rifle) I figured, the drilling was the service firearm by her memory's all the years ago, but i think it was a war trophy he brought back along with the two German bayonets posted at the beginning of this post........ This is the daughter of Raymond Robinson, the former owner of this grouping......almost 4 years after original post, I acquired more items from a separate source. What are the odds? She should be bringing official documents and records. Really hopefully for bringing back paperwork. -

Thank you so much! My main goal was just to find out which are WWII and before at this time, so thank you for clearing that up. I definitely need to purchase a copy. Sometimes I get EGAs as part of groups so it would be a very beneficial purchase. I'll look through previous posts and other resources to find more details on these. If I have trouble with one I'll post it on the forum. Thanks again!
