If anyone in "Forum-Land" has photos of the rest of "F" Company 349th Infantry Regiment, please post them here. -

This is the Bell pattern, and these two-piece Aerial Gunner wings are harder to find than the one-piece AG wings. With the corrosion on the brass pin, I would agree the wing was stored somewhere that really oxidized it. -

Putting the finishing touches on. As always, I am getting some post-model depression. Not everything turns out the way you want or envisioned but the great news is that these are the best faces I have ever done. Aside from my Vietnamese Captain who has eyes like my chihuahua, I am really proud of the faces and camo patterns. The smoke turned out real well and I am overall pleased with my work 😊 -

In the 90s my dad took me to a local Air Show and they had this knife and sheath for sale. I don't remember what my Dad paid for it, but I'm thinking it was around $40. I started doing some research online and couldn't find much about this unique sheath. I believe the knife is from the 1960s or '70s, and hopefully not a reproduction. Does anybody have any knowledge about this? -

I got a large grouping several years back with a set of wings done in a similar fashion. The grouping had the pilot's wings (that match up with photographs) and then this pair. The wings are full size Navy Aviator wings but with the diamond placed in there like yours. -

It probably has to do with how/where they were stored. Mothballs can really do weird things to metal and plastic for example. I would ( personally) clean these up with some silver polish and they will naturally re-tarnish. These are a fairly common pattern. -

Anyone ever run across a Marine Corps marked SKRAM, or any other modern aviation equipment EGA marked? -
