Hello ! Planning to buy this particular pistol, no provenance other that previous owner bought it from gunbroker. I know pictures are not the best - I was just wondering if this is original finish ? Thank You ! -

Well not all is golden in the Mid Atlantic South, Luck is correct, but I think most is up in the North East, thats where most was produced, It seems to stay up there. I have had my share of luck but I am also alot more picky now that I dont need all the gear. In fact I've been thining it out. The flea market has the 5:30 vultures sitting on the fence waiting to mob the seller before there out of there car, turning over there boxes and digging. It kind of discuss me. So I go less and less. The same crowd at estates sales there at 4:30 am. If they want it that bad go for it. There is more to life than militaria, the older you get. My 2 cents. -

There are 31 half dollars I paid 12 each and I’ll sell them tomorrow to one of the guys saving silver. -

It’s timing, consistency and going to a ton of sales that don’t produce but I’m feeling blessed. There are many people going to these sales so there is a lot of friendly and unfriendly competition. Today I chose the right area and got to every sale at the right time. Thursday and Friday hardly produced a thing because I went to all the wrong places. -

When I lived in the high desert I would go yard sailing all over. I found lots of stuff and posted some of it here. This small load came from yard sales not the flea market. -

Sometimes we have to pay for a lesson. Those are the ones we remember for a long time. Please do not get discouraged and just take the time to learn more about your new hobby. -
