The M65 posted is NOT NOS. If it was NOS there would be no fraying around the white tags and they would be slightly stiff. Also there is wear along cuff. The zipper pull has fraying on it. It in very good condition but not NOS -

robinb beat me to it. Here is a photo I found which shows the case packaging with a January 1945 production date. -

It is a US Navy Medical Department item from WWII. The US Navy and US Army adopted a new combined stock number system with a different format from 1947. These plaster of paris bandages were relatively common on the surplus market 10 to 15 years ago. -

Well, as an owner of military garbage cans and a military casket crate, nothing surprises me anymore. -

Found this in a thrift store today. Labeled: Bandage, Plaster of Paris, 3" x 5 yards. Stock No. 2-115, Johnson & Johnson It is UN-OPENED! I saw one listed on the 'bay listed as WW2. The can color seems too green for WW2. Oil cans I've had from WW2 are a much darker green. What era is it? I think it's cool, but if someone is interested, I'd be glad to trade it for patches. -

Some of my more recent pick-ups I don't think I've posted. Picked up this Louisiana cav lieutenant (my assumption Louisiana as under a loop his buttons are definitely Pelicans) this weekend. Some other yanks from the past year.
