Hello y'all,my name is Foster, I am based in Alexandria, Virginia. I work at an auction house, Potomack Company Auctions, and we recently acquired a large collection of militaria and saddles from around the world, with many being from the United States. The United States collection includes mainly saddles/accouterments, as well as a few helmets and various other items of militaria. The earliest saddle we have is circa 1840, with many from the Civil War period, including McClellan's, Whitman's, and Grimsley's, from both the North and South. Don't want to spam other threads, so I'll just leave this here, but we also do have some cavalry saddles from the post-civil war to WWI periods as well as a few random things such as US bugles and cavalry/infantry helmets. We also have a M1866 Winchester rifle, that has Billy the Kid association, apparently owned by a member of the posse that went after him (the thing is sweet.) I'll attach a few photos below, but would love for y'all to check our auction out, to see some cool militaria or perhaps add to your collection. Feel free to reach out to me, my email is Foster@Potomackco.com for any questions. Hope y'all enjoy taking a look at some of these items, you can view all of our itemsby searching "Potomack Company Auctions" in google (its the militaria and saddle sale). If you are local (DC, Northern Virginia area) feel free to come into our showroom and take a look as well. We are open for preview M-F 9am-5pm, Sat June21st 10am-5pm + Sun June22nd 1-4pm (Not open Sat or Sun unless otherwise noted). -

. Hi Johan, haven't run thermostats in any of my Jeeps for fifty years, also haven't used windshields either for that matter. John was complimenting me on my oil pressure as well this week as we rode around, now that really is something I like to see reading higher. I have an original Temperature gauge away being refilled presently for my spares stocks. Norman D. Landing, Forum Normandy Correspondent, June 12 2O25. ….
