Hello everyone,  could someone please tell me if this is an M1912 or M1917 or something else M wise?  Also is this considered a summer tunic since it seems not wool.  Thanks Jim C.

It’s a M82 7.62mm blank for the M60 MG and M14 rifle.  Earliest I have seen is 1962 dated.  

i have made a few cool finds over the past month to include several WWII Airborne Newspapers. The cabinet photo is signed and is the West Point Cadet photo of Odus Horney, who was a significant contributor to the development of the 03 Springfield rifle and retired as a Brig Gen of Ordnance. The Pistol belt is 1944 dated
