Thank you otter42, I think it's 30/06 but not sure. The headstamp doesn't say & I don't know enough to know from measurements. Your pic is awesome. I don't think it looks like a dummy round due to the dent and bent in metal vs cut away metal. -

Thank you eagle mtn, That scenario would explain the dents in the back side of the casing. But would the 30/06(maybe) have been belted in Vietnam? I also found some of these rounds in M1 clips (I think), but they were in a different box. Were M1's still being used in Vietnam? I'll see if the dent lines up with the lip of the clip. -

Nope, it was just a image showing the face of it. -

There is evidently some way of washing them as I have a top and pants in the woodland version that i got from two different trift stores that still have the lining but no charcoal left. The top was took to a cleaner at some point because there's a tag from them pinned to it. I've also seen an od top the same way. I think I remember seeing someone somewhere on this forum saying that you could vacuum a lot of it out. -

Hello Mark. This is a Museum Reproduction Limited (MRL) reproduction knife Sheath shows rivets on the backside greatly different from authentic knives. Fittings are much cruder that originals. I don't think these have the black spacers you expect to see on the original as well. -

It may just be the lighting but to me there seems to be some signs of wear. The snaps on the top pockets kinda look like the spot on this bdu from the buttons. I have a m65 with the same thing but I could not get it to show up well in a picture. -

Here it is. In the third image you can see where I have left some of the original charcoal covered layer. -

Maybe it's not military? The only thing I could find using Google lens is a Japanese site selling them as us military bags. The description claims that it is for shotgun shells but I'm not sure if it is correct. I may be wrong but just a another guess is maybe it could be medical. Though it could be just a commercial bag, I've seen lots of different things that were made in China that were made in a ucp copy.
