I like the fact his final resting place is Sutherlin! At the time WWII started he was living in Medford. Sometimes officers sold their uniforms to other officers when they left the service due to the cost of tailoring. Could that be a factor? Kurt -

A early 60s Shirt of either the 7th or 8th Battalion 68th Armor 83rd Infantry Division of the Reserves in Ohio. Both these hiigh numered CARS Battalions where in the division, You can just see a smidgen of the OHIO Patch there,
