Recent find that surfaced in a Virginia Beach Goodwill. I'm having difficulty finding examples of this configuration. The ANVIS shroud attaches w/ a single bolt and slotted spanner nut. AFSOC? 160th back seater? Has anyone seen / used this rig?

This is the view of the castle buildings that you see when you look straight ahead from the fountain.

Thank you! I'm always looking to trade or buy  Strat stuff. NAOC, Looking Glass and TRIAD related things too. Sometimes I get rare things and want to sell them to legitimate collectors who are more like caretakers if that make sense.

This fountain in Belleau, which represents a mastiff dog, a very aggressive hunting dog, similar to a bulldog, was installed at the beginning of the 19th century above the watering trough in the Cour des Communs of Belleau Castle. So it is Belleau Castle

No, but they can be found on the internet. I do have these from the TM.

Welcome from the other end of the state! There are some nice places to pick militaria in your area and several other collectors.

I will defer proper identification of this piece to those who have experience with the Shellback ceremony and costumes necessary for the event.   This was a service uniform made by the Naval Uniform Shop, Brooklyn, NY. Named to a Lt Cmdr, dated 1972, made of 'Blue Double Knit'.  The shoulder boards are Meyer made Ensign, with all of the additional embellishments of gold flat braid and buttons sew on.  It appears to have been worn a few times, with perhaps a little hard partying along the way as a few buttons are missing and some braid in need of mending.  The trousers have been shortened to knee length with braid attached.  I was hopeful for a Bi-corn hat, a shoulder parrot, and a wooden peg leg, but no such luck, still holding out for a chest of gold doubloons. I would like to know what "character" or part of the ceremony this uniform may have been used for and what rank that person may have been on the ship?  I think its a neat piece of Naval history and have never seen one in the flesh.  If anyone has other uniforms of this type please feel free to add on to this post.  The online shipboard photo is from 1967, but no other details were available.  I'm not a collector of Navy uniforms but this was too interesting and fun to pass on.  Cheers, Armygas

Looking for opinions on what would be a fair price for a WWII 8th Armored Group patch (8GP)

Sorry, the topic should be Citation Distinguished Flying Cross, unfortunately I don't know how to correct this
