What’s up with the envelope? Zip code and a 29cents stamp? -

I have a 310th Engineers uniform with an 85th Division SSI. No company letter on the Engineer collar disk, so I don't know if it is 1st or 2nd Battalion of the regiment. The "U.S." disk is very nice with a hallmarked thumbscrew. It has a single Overseas Chevron for up to 11 months overseas service. I can only find "EL. REAES." written on the trousers waistband. Any rosters to check? -

Found this at my local antique shop today, these are the kind of finds I live for. It’s an original WWII named 508th PIR grouping, all framed. I could not pass it up, I feel it was reasonably priced. Did a lot of research on the veteran, he dropped on D-Day. This is not something you find at an antique shop! It was also 10% off 👍😁 -

A pair of scarce, early 1920's, 2nd Cavalry Distinctive Unit Insignia. Based on those and the size of the "U.S." devices and crossed sabers, I think these are for the high collar officer's uniform. That dates them to before 1926. -

Hey gang, I was gifted these many years ago and am soliciting some advice from the community regarding the era for these guys. I’m working more detailed pics but any advice is appreciated -

Thanks for posting, Manky bandage. That lighter really is in excellent condition for being ~80 years old! -

My only WW2 lighter, took me an age to track down a nice enough one with nearly all of its finish intact. Really like the Evans Spitfire, wouldn't mind finding a black one and I believe a red one exists but never seen one myself. -

PGA, Sorry to chime in so late, but there is so much to read on this site, I can not keep up. What I feel is the most important point of this ID tag is the "H" in the lower right. It stands for Hebrew, previously stated as Jewish, but changed early in the war to help protect the religious identity if captured by German soldiers. I am not a big collector of tags, however I am working on gathering an example of every religion authorized by the US Military, its quite a long list. I feel its a nice tag well worth the few shekels. Cheers, Armygas
