In the Randolph Scott movie " To the Shores of Triploi " The men selected for Sea School training get something pinned on their dress blues by the Commanding Officer. It's some kind of badge, a half round with EGA emblem. I saw it on an internet search a long time ago, can't find it now.   Anybody know what that badge is ? Have an image ?

Here is one I just got in, requested his file but the information I have on him at the moment is; George Edward Tucker - HQ, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd MarDiv KIA Guam 23rd July 1944 This one is a Atlantic Product Co 1941 dated Musette bag, modified with the addition of the shovel holder, named and UNIS marked.

@JrBfloNY This photo was taken some time prior to March 12, 1945.  The caption identifies the Soldier as Pvt Donald Jensen of Kenosha, Wisconsin.  He is wearing a 2nd Cav patch on the left sleeve of his M43 field jacket.  From my research, this is the only photograph I have found of the patch being worn during WW II. Hand painted 95th ID and 3rd AAF. Measure 12" x 12". Seller said they came from a VFW. Gonna have to find some more of these!

I’ve never seen anything like it, how big are they, any markings and what are they made of?   They look great!!

Thank you, SARGE. I've noticed very little information about this saber. They're quite rare on the US market, right? I rarely see anyone selling them.
