. Hi Johan. while we are briefly talking about GMC DUKW's Emmanuel has had this design painted on his DUKW. There is an amphibious day on lakes near Periers on the 4th of June, I believe Emmanuel is taking his DUKW, Schwimmwagen and his amphi-car. Norman D. Did the entire training cycle for a LST driver take about 3.5 months from basic to additional training in early to mid 1944? Would been likely that LST driver finishing training in May of 1944 would seen action in either D Day in Normandy or D Day in Southern France? What rating did the LST drivers have out of training and when they discharged from the Navy? -

Seam Grip should work well for that; it stays flexible after it dries. Depending on how much of the seam you have to reseal, you may consider doing it in a couple of sections. Spread a light coat Seam Grip on then clamp or weight it overnight. I use binder clips and either popsicle sticks or pieces of flat metal to distribute the clampin pressure. Good luck with the repair! -

That’s messed up! It’s just so sad that so much mail gets stolen these days! Even here in Belgium, it’s a big problem. Really a shame that some thief stole this piece. Hope it finds its way back to you! -

Last year, at the big 3 day show in Phoenix, I did see an original Zoave rifle ,with the bayonet and the original scabbard, for sale. He was asking $1500 . I have to say I was tempted. -

There sure is, but when you get directly from the vet, there is no question. It is unfortunate that we have evil people in this world who prey on others! -
