It looks like the Herbert Lee Webster in these posts was born in Tioga in 1920 and for our legion to mention Herbert Lee Webster in 1923 it may have been named after his father. -

What's a fair price to ask for sealed box with M7 bayonet and M8a1 scabbard, I believe these where repacked 3/77. I need to clear out some stuff. Thanks -

Interesting. Thanks, Randy. Hadn't even considered the possibility of Navy. I have only had it for a couple of years but of course no information or identification came with it 😀 -

The military experimented with many things during the Vietnam war. With that said they made good use of WW II BAR belts. -

You're very welcome. Alone that uniform is super nice but there was no life in it. With particulars about the man who wore it suddenly the uniform begins to fill out and you can begin to see once more who this soldier was and what he did. It's so awesome that we're beginning to have so much more information available to the general public (although, some by paid subscription). Of course as time passes there will even be more information forthcoming. Anyway, enjoy the uniform and all it now means. Take care and God Bless! -- Matt -

Thank you so much :) I thought, it looked kind of odd, too, but I am by far not knowledgeable enough, so thank you ☺️ -

It’s trying to look Japanese-made (fully embroidered with portions of the reverse being khaki twill). But check out that distorted V. Japanese patches are always perfect in design. I wouldn’t buy it. -

Hi, everyone :)) I have stumbled upon this patch, but wanted to know all of your opinions before buying it... Do you think, that it is real? Kind regards, Jules
