A 7th Air Force patch we see, not sure if he is wearing it as his current unit or was in the 7th Air Force in WWII, that is if there were Black units of the support nature assigned to it. His ribbons are kinda hard to make out, a seem rather incomplete, is that the American Defense or the Asiatic Pacific, bottom row seems to be a National Defense, a Good Conduct and a WWII Victory -
