I agree, that does sound plausible. About a year in country seems doable and I would imagine fairly common. I’ll work on trying to find his next of kin. Contacting him/her would be very difficult I would imagine as well. -

Im going with each arrowhead represents a week in country...... 49 weeks and 3 weeks out processing and moving back to conus. For a one year tour..... Seems like some of those arrowheads.. if not all have a line drawn through them..... ? Denoting a week finished ??? It seems plausible but I dont know for a fact. I dont know how it worked exactly. ? -

I think that it’s from an artillery ordnance unit. Red & yellow is ordnance. -
