Lots of Robbins Naval Observer / lots of NAPs ( regulation have No hallmark ) / small NAPs sterling stamped.  Lots of sterling JUMP Wings ( no hallmark ) / regulation gold (color) PARA Wings.  More - but that is top-of-head.

This is pretty cool medal, IMHO. The ribbon has been around for a while, so it's nice there's a planchet for it now. And this does have a cool effect to it (maybe "affect" is a better word??) I had one deployment planned to do "Arctic Circle stuff". I was pretty excited since that's one place I hadn't yet gone. Total of four months; two months in the area. Back in time for school graduations.   On our way across the Atlantic, we got the "Just kidding! You're heading to the Gulf!" message and for the next eight months, that was all they wrote... 😥

Hi Ken You seem to have previous form with this. My memories are a bit vague about it all now but back in the mid 80's I broke down in my jeep in the Dudley area. I can't remember how it all came together but the end result was you turned up with a replacement coil and in no time I was back on the road. Think we weren't too far from your place. No idea how we knew it was the coil or how you got involved, maybe I rang Andy Jones and he got in touch, or might have been I got in touch direct.   Anyway, thank you for your roadside assistance.  Kevin
