I'd delete the thread if I could. I keep thinking this board is an information repository and I tried to contribute. -

Excellent work Lars! I've not built a Rye Field kit yet, how did you like it? In any case, looking forward to seeing your Paladin all painted up and weathered. 😁 Joe -

Not really unusual. It depends on how it was stored. -

Hi @644td thanks for your reply. I thought these photos were pretty clear but I am happy to take and share more. Is there something you need a better closeup of ? Thanks again -

Photos of a 301st SRS/BS // 72d SRW(H)/BW(H) B/RB-36 crew wearing the patch at Ramey AFB, PR circa 1955. My recently acquired EMAT embroidered on felt 3.25inch (horizontal) patch and an EMAT patch from an old USMF posting. Lighter is from my collection. If you have photos of this patch being worn post them up here. -

The question came from me posting about winning this uniform. I am wondering if it is possible that the Moran book is not incorrect about this and MCWR did wear an identical iniform for a short period. Women Marines did wear Navy utilities in the 70s. Maybe the same sort of thing. I was sent photos from a book that show both versions of the WAC. There are stamps on the one I won with five characters. They start wirh a number. Pic attached vs the letter A that was mentioned above. Additionally, Anne Lents designed uniforms WAC and MCWR. Maybe it was identical but wirh a different serial number. Thanks all for helping to get to the bottom of this!
