You're going to have to shop around a bit for a place that would want to take them honestly. Historical societies and such are typically overrun with "common" things. For example, my local WWII "thing", the Milwaukee War Memorial center, has a list of things they want and a list of things they don't need anymore of. Just check and see. The War Memorial center makes exceptions for "gold star" groupings and such from Milwaukee. Given the Minnesota connection, the Minnesota History center might want it. You can check the Minnesota state historical society as well. -

WWII/WWII M1917/M1923 "Frankenstein"-ed Mounted/Dismounted mixed and converted Cartridge Belt. Made from two left side halves of WWI era Russell and Mills belts, one half started as mounted cartridge belt, a new pouch sewn on the empty space the other had male/female buckle ends were cut and resewn along with waist adjustment strap. Note the color of these new parts are in WWII od#3 rather than WWI "khaki". Also it only has 9 pockets Vs the standard 10. Posted previously here: -

Last weekend best friend and I did the Raleigh militaria show, set up Friday and came back Saturday AM. Uncovering my table discovered some low lay scum bag had stolen my 45 dated " China Lantern" newspaper. Had notes written inside by GI in black ink. I collect some CBI items and this was an extra " China Lantern" that was framed in poster frame with clear plastic on both sides so one could see/ read whole paper. This is other framed copy which Im keeping . -
