That is a Type 44 carbine in case you were wondering. It is in surprisingly great condition, which is hard to come by nowadays. If you want to shoot it every once in a great while, Steinel ammunition makes good ammo for it. I hope this helps. -

Let’s stick to the facts, where does the information come from? What government source shows us that this is more than a 1950s officer shirt? Somewhere if this shirt exists there will be government acquisition orders on record telling who made what shirt and how many were ordered, that would be proof of this nuclear shirt. And if this shirt is what you say it is where is the tag that tells you so, all US clothing is marked in a way that you can understand its purpose, this shirt has no such tag. Isnt this a private purchase shirt not issued? The original poster avoids answering the first 2 questions (this is my 3rd time asking) which usually translates into they don’t know -

Acquired this set via eBay, seller said he got the items plus the vets trunk from a thrift store that was going to throw it out! Unfortunately seller is keeping the trunk but I understand the difficulty in shipping that. Lt Alexis Hawryluk entered the army late in 1944, and from the decal on the trunk served as a member of the 810th Engineer Aviation Battalion, a segregated unit. The Ike and Aussie BD are a great pairing 1st LT bars look to be Australian made as well! -
