Silver star is ww2 made to. There could be a number on the edge and may be researchable? Not sure about the bronze star but likely WW2. -

The tables, generally speaking, are plentiful… the WWII dated are not as readily available… the unpainted 1942 as posted above would be a good first option…a mixed market..👍 -

I’m a member of this book club! My stuff is all boxed up for the bedroom remodel, so I have no idea where my copy is. I will add my two cents that it frequently comes in very handy. mikie -

The bayonet in the middle was most likely cut down during WW2. It is my understanding that the military was transitioning to shorter bayonets due to a shift in battlefield tactics making long bayonets obsolete. However, many troops fighting in the pacific kept their 16 inch M1905 bayonets to match the reach of the Japanese Type 30 bayonets which were almost as long. Your cut down bayonet could have likely been used in the European Theater during WW2. I hope this helps :) -

I can’t imagine Chuck T’s would be very smart in the muddy jungles of Vietnam. -

That would make sense. I have a photo of him at his wedding in August of 1945, and his 10th Armored patch is on his left sleeve. Wade -

Lukypom, If you sell it as "dead stock" be sure it actually is. While it appears to be in excellent condition, "Dead stock" technically means off the shelf, old inventory that didn't sell or was never issued. Overall it's nicer than most you see out there but be advised those guys want actual unused garments. Just an FYI, Dave
