      Gardens of Stone (1987) mediocre reviews, but worth watching.   Taking Chance (2009); some of the acting is stilted, but it is effective in portaying the return of a real KIA (Iraq) Marine to his final resting place. It also shows the guilt felt by some service personnel who were not in the fight.   Restrepo (2010) -documentary on Afganistan, so not Hollywood per se; but very real portrayal of the small unit US Army fights in isolated places in that war- warts and all.

      This might already be common knowledge, but has anyone else ever noticed the use of a “WT” M1 Bayonet in Band of Brothers Episode 5?   See screen shots below from right around the 38:37 mark of the ‘Crossroads’ episode.     Also shows Greek numbering on guard so I guess you can add that to the list of ‘inaccuracies’…
