Here is a Camp Toccoa photograph of Co C of the 517th Parachute Infantry Reg. These men were most famous for Operation Dragoon though they fought heavily in Italy and later in the Ardenne. They suffered over 80 percent casualties. I took the images outside in the evening, thus the blue hue.

Im sure you have recieved a lot of private messages.    One option I would look into is an auction. Granted auctions come at a cost but also can be more of a benefit if looking to have the best exposure.    I would suggest contacting Jeff Shrader of Advanced Guard Militaria/ Bannerman's Auctions as he is now doing military auctions. Jeff has been a well-established militaria dealer and appraiser for many years as well as appraiser for Antique Road Show. For me he would be ideal place/setting for this type of collection. Here is the link to his site. Would be worth looking into he or his staff could explain or detail the fees involved.   I have deazlt with Jeff at shows and catalog sales for over 25 years and you can mention to him that I reffered you to him.   https://bannermanauctions.com/?fbclid=IwY2xjawRFNOFleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFXTW9Xd1dSMXE2bDd6U0dPc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHvi0yTORixEMR-7PvGZGsXpPBP1bazZi2-xCA1H5xW8Ku50v-K_EnVweAiih_aem_wz_VYQiZnmgxui3UK7cA_Q

This is kinda interesting. My Grandfather and his cronies started a Legion post and pretty much declared war on the local VFW.

Individual items I'm not sure. Only one solid grouping though.

OK, I just might sell it to you!  I’ll get back to you.  $1,000.00 is fine with me!   Where do you live?   Jack Flash 9APR26

Can anyone tell me what company makes the best web waist  belt?  It's not for re-enactment but actual daily wear. I see them advertised from $6-8 each to more than $20 but I wonder what the difference actually is.  Any help appeciated. Thanks.     Steve

Yes, that is a good Aussy made WWII 1st Div.  I would not pay more than 100 for it as you will see several on EBay this year for a comparable price, good luck! - Cubusmc
