Anniversary badges are another type of “Special Event” badge, along with Presidential Inaugurals, Memorials, Millennium, etc.

I just consider it damage, but deliberately so. Top two look like the side of a file, the bottom looks like a blade- do two different events?

I bought this at the flea market this morning for $10. Aluminum handle, 7 inch blade, 12 inches overall. The blade is pretty thick at the hilt. No ID to the owner, when or where.  My questions relates to what type bayonet or sword donated their blade to this knife. Anybody got an idea? Knowing that I can probably back in to what theater it was made in. The search for a vintage knife sheath begins. Thanks!  

The chinstraps are not US, they are European clones.
