They are both what I would consider to be WW2 era.

I don't have an answer to your question because I'm not an expert on tiger stripe camouflage boonie hats but I would guess that the odds of coming across one is slim as I kept this photograph of someone's collection of fifteen different tiger stripe boonie hats and they all have tiger stripe loops.

Don't know enough, but love the patch. Hope it's authentic. Been looking for a troop carrier patch myself for a while. Have you tried the UV test?

Your first photo is upside down and I thought that was your clever way of telling us you are from "or near" down under.

Hello,   Just trying to identify the possible era for these two insignia. Both are sterling with pin clutches. How can you tell if they are WW2 era or post-war? Thanks!

Hello everyone, Is this an original Airborne troop carrier patch, English version? It has the features, but I think there are very good copies nowadays.   Thank you.

Hi,   I am trying to figure out if my 2nd, 101st, and 82nd patches are WW2 era or post-war. All three are no glow. Got them at a surplus store

Nice collection :) Would love to see your WW2 collection as well (or an assortment of it :D) Hiwever, I don't think, that the utility shirts in pictures 2 and 3 are Vietnam era. Without any close-ups or photos of labels, they look more like the post-Vietnam og507s issued from the mid/late 1970s all the way into the late 80s and early 90s :)) Besutiful shirts nonetheless and a collectable if its own. However it could be, that the servicemen, who wore the first shirt, might have served in Vietnam due to his rank and the CIB :)) Not sure about the second one, though   Kind regards, Jules
