My mistake! The seller took them off for shipping so I put them back on. They are clip on. And thank you!

Without a blank adapter you would have to cycle each shot by hand and I dont believe you can use any other blank in it than .30-06. We had blank adapters on the M16A1 other wise the bolt wont cycle. Blanks dont have enough power to power the bolt.   https://www.atlanticwallblanks.com/AWB-M-1-BLANK-FIRE-ADAPTER_p_488.html   This place says $65.00 per 100 .30-06   https://leftbehindfirearms.com/re-enactment-blanks

Hey all. My next impression I’m working on is a chaplain with the 39th IR/2nd battalion of the 9th ID. I’ve been hearing recently about talk about people doing it and how a lot of people get offended if you’re not a trained pastor or clergy member doing it. Personally I see no problem doing it even though I myself am not trained to do it professionally. I still want to be able to give the public a good representation of what a chaplain would have looked like in the field and the services he performed. And again with all impressions it’s about doing it the RIGHT way.   For my impression as a chaplain I plan on holding “mass” in the field and giving a small quick period accurate sermon to give to the public and the reenactors at attendance. I have also learned pieces to play on the field organ that are period appropriate. Like I said, I am not a pastor, or trained as such, but I still think it is an important part that should not be ignored.anyways, my question is, what would be an opposition to this? Are there any moral implications that I am violating in doing this? I want to make sure it is respectful in all manners and that people enjoy it. Let me know if there are any concerns or something of the sort as I would like to hear some opinions.

Here is a link to a Vietnam era M1C. Or maybe early to mid 60's  ? It even has remnants of the adhesive from the tape that was used to make sure it didnt come apart. Also has the little short straps with the snaps..... If you want to learn about M1 helmets just scour the forum for information. Its all here! Just spend some time searching and reading.

It’s the wrong round? It will probably  jam immediately, cycling will be off, the gas pressure will be different than what the rifle is calibrated for and it won’t cycle, there’s so much wrong with that. 7.62 won’t even fit in an enblock either, or correctly at least. It seems very dangerous for the user and the rifle.
