He was in the Korean War.   Charles (Chuck) Edgar Michael Durant, Born in Braddock, Pennsylvania on September 9, 1928 passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 91 surrounded by his family on March 27, 2020 in Daytona Beach, Florida.  He is preceded by his wife of 67 years, Naomi Joyce Durant.   He spent a year at Texas A&M and was later drafted into the US Army during the Korean War. After boot camp, Chuck, in his dapper uniform showed up on Naomi’s doorstep, and asked her to come with him to Ft. Bragg, NC where they were married.  He was at Bragg.

The pouch is worth the $15, the mags several hundred. 

From the marks on the bullet heads and case mouths, these do not appear to be original/unaltered.  I would guess that the heads have been pulled and re-inserted.  Only a guess, but I have never seen marks like this on original ammo. The staked primers are very interesting.

WWII Cross was issued in 1946 to Bernard Ciotti.   I will try to get a card   From a 1942 Newspaper:   CIOTTI PROMOTED Freeport--Bernard Ciotti, 26, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciotti, 199 Seaman Freeport, has been promoted from the rank of corporal to that of technical sergeant, it was learned here today. Sgt. Ciotti is serving with the Signal Corps at Fort Jay, it was said.   Bill

Yes, RIP.  Great photo to have to remember both parties by.  Really a special photo which will only increase in historical value over the years.

For the A11.... You need a pair like the orange ones or the dark ones above  on the left side.

Agree, nice example of an R-O. However, I would expect to see the early boxed RMC & crossed cannons cartouche on the right side of the stock though.
