I thought that was pretty dang funny myself. You come across some of the craziest things every once and awhile when doing research. He was so fortunate his wife decided to leave and he was able to get a divorce. Dodged that bullet I'd say. -

The four line Camillus mark is considered to be WW2 but they may have continued post war for a short time. With that said, there was little reason to continue production of the TL-29 after the war ended as there was more materials on hand than were needed at that point. Bottom line is that the four line mark is considered WW2. Lance -

Hello Is this a WW2 era Camillus TL-29? I has brass spacers. It also in Marked marked with a 4 line address. (I blacked out the vets name that is marked on the knife.) Thank you -

Interesting thread. Illustrates the importance of researching these artifacts. I wonder if another family member was in the air service and over the years his insignia ended up on this uniform? Really gorgeous wing regardless of the story. -

This is the latest 3D 45 coming out of the printer. They all look like this. These legs….so to speak are what’s holding the gun up while it prints. Can be awkward cleaning the connection points. -
