I know the airforce used tan gear but I think it was commercial and not marked. There is also the tan Saudi Arabia marked one's but those aren't marked U.S. -

Strange because the front is gilded. Led alloy cast with a gilded front…more expensive to do that than make the badge lol -

Probably depends on the collector. I think most folks here prefer it being named or with a laundry mark. -
