I'm looking to nail down some info on this button. It's 21mm by measurement and reads "Waterbury Manufacturing Co" on the back. Shield is raised. I haven't had any luck finding this particular Waterbury back stamp. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks -

Very saddened to hear this today. Eric and I had many conversations and shared very common collecting interests. His friendship and knowledge will be greatly missed. Prayers and blessings to his family and friends. -

There doesn't appear to be a unit history specifically for Company B or the entire Battalion. There are several rosters in print, but you already know what information those would provide. However, there is a history from 1919 for Company C, and it has been digitized: https://books.google.com/books/about/The_Book_of_Co_C_316th_Field_Signal_Batt.html?id=Tx4wAAAAYAAJ -
