A very nice artifact. These came in pairs, the one you have and the other is the 442nd distinctive insignia, the go for broke DI with the Mississippi steamboat. They are made of plaster of Paris and were made in Pisa, Italy. They are very fragile, so be careful. I had a few of them, but sold them at the Bob Chatt show in Pomona, California. I have one set left. Will be posting my 442nd and Nisei WW2 item later thanks, Mark Susuki aka dmsusuki a few attachments hope you like them -

Steve, I will assume you have reached out to the MVPA, if not that would be a place to start. Also the National MVPA convention is in Virginia this year, getting a table there may generate some interest and contacts. Cheers Armygas -

Ok thanks. I’ve made the mistake of looking of inflatable mannequins once or twice. -

Welcome Jeremiah, My Father in Law was a belly gunner on a B-24 flying out of New Guinea to Rabal Harbor Japan. We may need to compare notes on our family flyers. I have a few artifacts from Bobs time in service, Do you have any items from your uncle? Cheers, Armygas -

There is a company that makes inflatable torso's and they actually work decent. Just make sure you Google inflatable torso and not inflatable mannequin as the results are dramatically different🤣 and you will be plagued by some horrible spam... Scott
