I picked this one up early this year... Its got an Inland liner in it. The last image is the best I could get of the Inland logo over the number 55. I am not familiar with the number system on these but I am confident that the 55 does not represent the year 1955. Looks un messed with to me. Does anyone know why Inland Liners are sought after more than others? Thank you. -

Thank you Ken and you’re welcome. At first I was more curious about the round disc but after gathering the info on Fisher I was more interested in him. -

Wow. You’ll be going about the same time of year as I did long ago. HYDRATE, your drill sergeants aren’t saying it for fun. Summer is the worst time you could possibly go haha. Have fun -

Aug. G. Steinbeck22 July 1871Discharged Co. G. 12th U.S. Inf.West Side, Grave 1331 Aug. G. Steinbeck — 12th U.S. Infantry, Company G, West Side, Grave 1331 Based on the provided burial record, Aug. G. Steinbeck served in Company G, 12th U.S. Infantry and was discharged from the regiment. His final resting place is West Side, Grave 1331 at Fort Mohave Cemetery in Mohave County, Arizona Genealogy Trails. Context of Fort Mohave Cemetery Fort Mohave was established in April 1859 and served as a military post until it was discontinued in September 1896. Soldiers and civilians buried there were later reinterred in the National Cemetery at San Francisco, but some remained at Fort Mohave. The cemetery contains both marked and unmarked graves, including those of soldiers from the 12th U.S. Infantry Genealogy Trails. Related Burials The Fort Mohave cemetery records list several other 12th U.S. Infantry soldiers buried nearby, such as: John Evans (Pvt., Co. G, 12th U.S. Inf.) — West Side, Grave 1245 John French (Citizen) — West Side, Grave 1332 William Furlong (Sutler) — West Side, Grave 1325 Genealogy Trails These graves are in the same general area, suggesting that Aug. G. Steinbeck’s grave (1331) is in close proximity to others from the same regiment.
