The USA made suspenders and bags from At The Front looks really good. Saw a reenactor with them at a memorial day living history event, they were aged beautifully and looked original. -

Why not just leave it alone? A new or repainted number would not match the rest of the stock. Might as well just pick a new number if you choose to repaint it. -

Thank you so much for your input. It was very helpful. So you think its safe to say that the M3 is 100% autentic? I find it very important to make sure that it is, before considering selling it to the right collector, most likely in Norway. Even if it looks original, i got a little insecure, since the shaft is plastic / composite and not original. Don`t want to promote something real, that turns out to be a fake replica or something. That would not look good. -

Hello members, my name is Tom Foor. I decided to join this forum after discovering it on the net. Someone posted a story on Al D’Arco who was in my Dad’s WWII Unit 443rd AAA. Dad talked of him many times over the years, especially after the reunions held in Hazleton, PA. i am a avid military history buff and enjoy reading books and stories of all wars, especially WWI and WWII. I myself am a Vietnam Vet who served in 68-69 as an artillery man with the First Cav Division in III Corps. I recently visited the WWII weekend in nearby Reading, PA. What a great show. Thank you for allowing me to join. Tom Foor -

If you look at the link Lady Be Good was relocated to a site in Libya. It is beyond salvage but! I it would make for a good display. The Planes of Fame in Chino has the plane Yamamoto was shot down in on display. Someone had Lady Be Good relocated then didn't have the funds to do more. I wouldn't scrap it. -

Hey everyone, I am unsure if this is the right forum to ask this question. However, I am currently needing new medic Yokes and bags. I see there is a few options, But i'm particularly looking at Man The Line. I understand it may not be pristine to me, But will it be a better option as opposed to Amazon bags and suspenders? If anyone could give opinions, that would be great. -

I am not any expert on ordnance but that seems too thick to be a shell casing. Seems more like a hand carved piece of brass made for export. -
