He’s one I got in a grouping from a guy in the 82nd that made all 4 jumps. Looks just like yours. -

What ones am I still looking for? Trying to find a Cambrai and also a Somme Defensive. Lots of fake bars out there. There are some original pin in Type 2-4 types on eBay and other locations, but I am looking for period ones. I'd even consider loose clasps if they are from the period. I have a Studley Siberia but am holding out for a good one of those. Honestly, the Italy clasp is more rare, yet doesn't seem to command the same price. Steve -

I have been looking at quite a lot of PT boat squadron patches of late MBTron, not sure how to tell what is original war time patches and what type of material was worn. I see that there was painted leather patches as used on USAAF jackets but have seen PT boat leather patches and embroidery cloth patches. With the Embroidery patches not sure if such patches were used during the war with most being reproduced in post war times in the 1970 from Japan but there is computerised copies that show less detail and look at bit crap. There are some designs that are designed after the war like the MTBron 33 showing 2 sailors representing 33 and the 34 squadron in three configurations, one in leather, one in cloth detailed and a cheap less detail one. I did have the chance to buy a cloth 34 squadron patch for the collection but ebay wouldn't let me buy it for some reason may be about their Global shipping policies. What is wartime and what is not, any links to find out more about patches etc especially PT boat squadrons. -

Zero bars A no-kidding original 'so called' Type 1 next to a standard issue. Have lots more but this is a pretty good array of good looking WWI Victory Medals. Still pursuing a couple of others. Steve -

Today while working on the jeep (full report tomorrow) I checked a spare post-war 12-Patent Carter carburettor I have. To my surprise, it also has the rear spur 🤯
