Not sure of the Ft Irwin reference but he retired as a CWO5 and is buried at Arlington and that takes a lot. Between my brother and I we have almost 60 years of service. I cannot memorialize him by name here right now but I am trying to organize my stuff between pass on to family and sell.................in time .....as i love my stuff

Hello McLenn2025 and thank you. The 2nd pic of the utility shirt actually goes with the dress jacket above it with the name tag Densford, The name tag is in the pocket of the utility shirt, I should have layed it on the shirt for reference. I actually have Charles F. Densford's West Point Howitzer yearbook from 1956 with a added bonus of Norman H. Schwarzkopf (General) at the same time. From what I've read Densford was an impressive soldier and of coarse Schwarzkopf without saying. The 3rd shirt was found alone with no information but a nice one. Thank you for your comment

Some, in large quantities, were issued to Dutch Marine Brigade during the Indonesian War in 1946-1949. Here some photos from mid-late 1946.

What rank was he, and when was he in? You must be proud of him. If you have a Pic of him it would be nice to see, if your willing to share it.

Great to have good memories.  Did he retire from the military?

The 2nd Division and the 822nd Division patches are undoubtedly WWII vintage. The 101st is what Mark Bando calls a "Type 10," and he says they started showing up at the end of WWII and were widely worn during the Vietnam war.   Just because a patch came from a surplus store doesn't make it a fake.   Allan

I honestly don't know where to put this so feel free to move this topic where you see fit. I have been noticing that ucp/acu's aka mw2 ranger camo (yes ucp is also known as that in 2026) are starting to get popular with military collecting/reenactors and airsofters. Even i have to admit looking at ucp camo today its so bad its kinda good. But 5 years ago ucp was just straight garbage any collector would or at least 90% would agree. Don't get me wrong it still is a bad camo but its also starting to become drippy. I remember 5 years ago surplus stores would refuse to buy anything ucp/acu. Now they are actually starting to buy it more frequently and they are selling it frequently too. Even gwot mannequins are starting to pop up more frequently. And some of the acu gwot displays look cool like it hits differently today vs 5 years ago. I think 2 things helped make this camo popular. First is definitely the og mw2 and second id say warfare. Watching warfare actually made acu's look cool. And we can't forget mw2 ranger camo, I can't lie looking back mw2 ranger camo does hit differently now. But what are your thoughts?
