Thanks for the comments. For what it's worth, here's a picture of the base I had fabricated for it. The bottom is 1/4" steel plate and the center lug is solid stock. The lug and ring that surrounds it fits the prop shaft snugly and keeps it upright (insert inappropriate joke here), and the whole thing is anodized and weighs about 25 lbs. -

Un-common maker/contractor. Didn't know they had any contracts for WW1 Uniforms awarded to a Portland Oregon maker. -

Just pristine BEAUTY Cobra! They are so well made and the work so exacting that they look like pictures in 3-D, something that you couldn't actually touch. They are just splendid. -

Glad to help out, mtnman! I told yokota57 recently that I’ve hit a “dry well” trying to find military lighters, so I’ve branched off into law enforcement Zippos (some of which are military, but most not): -

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. The wife had an accident and broke her foot along with hurting her rotator cuff. So, I was doing double duty as a caretaker. I finally got some work done and finished my howitzer, although it still needs some tweaking. Also, the rounds and ammo boxes are done, and I scratch built the aiming stakes. I might decide to go to different boxes & aiming stakes. I primed the base. I intend to scratch build some PSP for the howitzer wheels in the firing pit, unless I find them online. Enjoy the pics. The H700 key for my jeep is sold by every major parts dealer in Europe and the US... I'm going to need to find a way to disable the ignition some other way.
