48MMS Posted November 13, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted November 13, 2010 And the 90th AEMS. . . . scan to follow (when it arrives), but did pick up a 450th AEMS, one I'd consider on the rare side.

48MMS Posted November 13, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted November 13, 2010 The 42nd Airborne Missile Maintenance Squadron, one of the nicer looking patches, maintenance or otherwise.
48MMS Posted November 13, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted November 13, 2010 This is the patch that me started on Combat Defense units. I was bidding on one (ebay) and a friend said let it go, I have some CDS patches for you. To my surprise, he sent this 2nd CDS plus the 305th, 320th, 72nd, 4123rd, 379th, 340th, 4241st, 9th, 42nd, 22nd and 823rd.
48MMS Posted November 13, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted November 13, 2010 This was the first patch I bought at the Pomona show, $20 well spent!

Randy Posted November 14, 2010 Share #11 Posted November 14, 2010 Another older favorite, the 407th AEMS. Al- I sure you know, but this was a SAC fighter unit with F-84s. Here's the wing patch for your enjoyment. Randy
48MMS Posted November 14, 2010 Author Share #12 Posted November 14, 2010 Randy, many thanks for the scan. One of my most sought after patches along with the 4136th FMS and 4136th CDS. I actually met a guy at the Casino where I work who was in the 407th SFW, but before we could even talk patches his wife jerked him away to gamble and I have never seen him since. 48MMS Posted November 14, 2010 Author Share #13 Posted November 14, 2010 Probably my rarest Wing patch, this 4134th Strategic Wing was in a grouping that set me back $200. However just recently a foreign made 3" version went for $300+, thus I feel a tad bit better
