Just acquired a WWI photo album (123 images) belonging to a family from Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. The two sons were in the Navy, one known to have been in the Naval Reserve Force. The majority of the photos are of local men who enlisted in the service. All are in their uniforms. Also included is a series of sixteen photos of the Red Cross workers of Hasbrouck Heights, taken in April and May 1918. Posted below are some of the ladies. It is interesting to see the variety in styling of the dresses and headwear, placement of pins and red crosses, and their sizes. Some crosses are fashioned from cloth and sewn onto the dresses and caps.

The bottom pic with the band on the white veil could be an instructor (if it's a red band) or head of workroom (if blue dark band.)
