easterneagle87 Posted October 9, 2020 Share #557 Posted October 9, 2020 Cruising Etsy and saw this image. Pretty cool vintage reprint labeled as: Vintage 1940s Photo - Tri-Delta Sorority Sisters (or as my dad used to joke; Delta Delta Delta - try Delt - everybody else has) - Girls Partying at Texas University Smoking and Drinking - WWII Era - Fine Art Print. What caught my eye, was the Tank Destroyer patch worn on the shirt of the blonde in the center of the shot. On a side note, the second thing that caught my eye was the Sigma Nu shirt (my old house) worn by the gal center front. I'm sure they were defying the house mom by partying like this! Probably a post war shot, but just goes to show you, our parents and grand parents have led some pretty cool lives.

Persian Gulf Command Posted January 30, 2021 Share #566 Posted January 30, 2021 Interesting 3/4 perspective of the black cat's face. Also, its an oval shape and is off a uniform. I'm wondering if this is due to a registration error with the embroidery or if the design was intentional. Either way I like these out of the ordinary items and this is a nice example of such. All comments and questions are welcome.

Usmc2004 Posted February 13, 2021 Share #568 Posted February 13, 2021 Not to ask a dumb question, but are theses patches with no tracks, one eye or no cannons and any others I may be missing considered to be error patches or purpose made variants? John.

Usmc2004 Posted February 16, 2021 Share #574 Posted February 16, 2021 Was wondering if anyone had been watching this ebay auction from a couple weeks ago? I see it sold with only one bid. Any one have any thoughts on this one? The seller was soldierstrunk. Just looking to get some good reference info for the future. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-WWII-6-WHEEL-TANK-DESTROYER-PATCH-FROM-BILL-WISE-039-S-PRIVATE-COLLECTION-/193860358362?hash=item2d22fa50da%3Ag%3A3s8AAOSw2LRgCypd&nma=true&si=0XcbRIfwHFuiuSloJFzcICWhkdQ%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
BILL THE PATCH Posted February 16, 2021 Share #575 Posted February 16, 2021 It's a rare 6 wheel variant, and soldier's trunk is very reputable. Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk
