Angus605 Posted March 18 Share #1 Posted March 18 I have a Winchester model 12 that I'm not sure about. I ran the serial number and the manufacturers date came back as 1942. I was told that it is a trench gun but I have a suspicion that it may not be. I've attached some pictures, any help would be greatly appreciated. turmanator Posted March 20 Share #2 Posted March 20 Based on the bayonet lug and no barrel band I would think its a trench gun unless someone modified a riot gun. And the rivets that attach the bayonet lug look proper. But I'm certainly no expert!
