Salvage Sailor Posted December 27, 2023 Author Share #4 Posted December 27, 2023 US Naval Academy Prep School (NAPS) Newport, Rhode Island Swiss Tex The Naval Academy Preparatory School is the Navy's fourth oldest school; only the Naval War College, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland are older. I also included a Naval Postgraduate School patch. :) The 10th Company patch was the one used by my company. My midshipmen designed it in 2004, and it was used on the black "Ike" jackets for all companies for the subsequent I-don't-know-how-many years. I was the officer representative for the pistol team, but to be fully transparent, I never saw the pistol team patch when I was at the Academy. This one was from eBay years later. Colt Woodsman Match Target .22 pistol (Second Series) In 1927, after some design changes and improvements the name “Woodsman” appears until 1941. Production resumed after the war from 1947 to 1955 (the time period when the patch was made) with additional frame and design changes.
