I Klems Posted December 14, 2023 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2023 My Name is Ian Klems My Great Uncle Leroy M Klems served in the 121st Regiment assigned to the 8th Army. All of my relatives that would have known him have passed so I am not able to ask them any questions. I was just wanting to know any and all info anyone could find on him. I know he has a purple heart and a Bronze star with 1 oak leaf cluster. He was KIA on August 13th 1944. Any info would be awesome and Massive Thank you in advance!!! kfields Posted December 14, 2023 Share #6 Posted December 14, 2023 Correct in that he was a member of the 121st Infantry Regiment 8th Infantry Division (not 8th Army).
