atb Posted December 8, 2023 Share #5 Posted December 8, 2023 It would have been worn some time between 1952 to 1989 when the unit was the 104th Armored Cavalry Regiment and had its own SSI. Before and after those dates it is designated as 104th Cavalry. Though, I believe the Army uses the full unit name (104th Cavalry Regiment) these days, it is not a separate unit like the 2nd, 3rd, 6th,11th, 14th were with their own SSI (and some my still be).
