M1902 US 3 Inch Cannon Restored this month

Michigan's Military Heritage Museum received this from Cantigny Park via the US Army last month. It was in desperate need of sandblasting and a paint job so it could be displayed outdoors once again. We got it done and here is the nearly finished product with all of the brass parts recovered from years of old paint. The paint shade is a bit off but we are overall really happy with how it turned out. In the Spring we will work to free up some of the moving parts.      Scott
