I know it’s the 109th DUI but I haven’t seen anything else like it. Seems to be made of brass and has a good weight and size to it. Not sure of the age. tredhed2 Posted March 9, 2023 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2023 What is your resource giving this as “109th Infantry Division?” Not a DI Not 109th Infantry Division (no such Div existed in US Army) Bears resemblance to 55th or 56th Infantry Brigades (depends on background color) but not round, either. 55th inactivated 1942; 56th redesig 28th Cav Recon Trp (28th ID). tredhed2 Posted March 9, 2023 Share #5 Posted March 9, 2023 Not the 109th Infantry Regiment either. It does have a resemblance to the crest (on top of the CoA) but is facing a diff direction.
