robinb Posted December 8, 2022 #1 Posted December 8, 2022 Not sure if this was military issue as there is no date on it anywhere. The pouch never had the wire hook and is made to only fit a narrow waist belt. Anyone have any info on it?
Ronnie Posted December 8, 2022 #2 Posted December 8, 2022 I know nothing about these pouches but I have one.
USMC_COLLECTOR Posted December 10, 2022 #4 Posted December 10, 2022 Maybe included in the mills catalogue but not seen or documented often?
Luc Posted December 10, 2022 #5 Posted December 10, 2022 No markings inside? I see a few differences in a Mills WW1 and the ones you show here. No sewing at the bottom of the flap. Better quality material used? Press studs are lower.

Luc Posted January 11, 2023 #8 Posted January 11, 2023 I think I found something about this pouch. A similar one was offered on an eBay auction where this was sold as: VINTAGE GIRL SCOUTS FIRST AID KIT & MILLS POUCH 1920'S ATTACH TO BELT COLLECTION. Searched the web with this information, and came across this on a website of www.vintagegirlscout.com/girl-scout-first-aid-kits Catalog image, the first time a first aid kit was shown in the GS catalog was 1921, when it was called an "ARMY First Aid Kit"
bbmilitaria Posted January 12, 2023 #10 Posted January 12, 2023 Greatest piece of Girl Scout kit except for maybe thin mints and samoas!
