I picked up this nice fixed bail M1 with an unpainted A washer Westinghouse Liner on Friday. Got it in the parking lot before it ever made it to the show. Also found a US Navy Dixie Cup Cap that had been dyed blue/gray. The show was a good one.

Love the cap too, cool how its rolled like that on the edges, i wonder how they did it?....mike

Easy Mike.....wet the sides that you want to turn down. Turn them down and put something on it to force the sides down until they dry. I did this. I put a headset on it and let it dry. Here is a photo of my dad’s cap with a headset on it.

It was a good show but too much Black Friday shoppers on 24 to Chattanooga!!

that’s a beautiful helmet. Love the early war plane jane. Just a great looking helmet
